Hyundai took first place among the most stolen brands, and accounts for 31% of the total number of car thefts. Second and third places in this unpleasant ranking were taken by Kia (24%) and Mitsubishi (7%). The main share of thefts occurred in Moscow, where 45% of such incidents were recorded.

Among the specific models most susceptible to thefts from January to September, Kia K5 sedans can be noted, which accounted for 14% of the thefts. ;total number of insured events. In second and third place in terms of theft frequency were the Hyundai Palisade and Hyundai Santa Fe crossovers, respectively. Among premium cars, the most stolen were the Genesis G80 sedan and the Mercedes-Benz GLE crossover. Among Chinese automakers, only Chery Tiggo crossovers were included in the anti-rating.

It is interesting to note that this year, corporate fleets were most often stolen, and not cars of private owners, with more than half of the cases (52 %) of thefts accounted for the first ones.
