The Japanese brand, owned by Toyota, has prepared several updates for its lineup in the home market.
Lexus introduced its flagship LS sedan back in 1989; since then, the model has changed generations several times. The current fifth generation four-door was presented at the beginning of 2017, and a restyled version debuted in mid-2020. Now the manufacturer has brought the LS for the home market until the 2024 model year.

The update has improved the level of comfort and safety of the flagship sedan. If, as part of the previous update, the Lexus LS received a 12.3-inch diagonal touchscreen infotainment system, now the front panel has also received a new fully virtual instrument panel (also 12.3-inch diagonal).

The 2024 model year four-door also now includes a DVR as standard equipment, which records footage of what is happening both in front of and behind the car. Also included in the list of Lexus LS innovations is the current content of the Lexus Safety System + ADAS package with the new Proactive Driving Assist function, which allows you to maintain a safe distance from pedestrians, cyclists and parked cars. And the Lexus Teammate system was supplemented with traffic jam assistants.

The Lexus LS 500h hybrid modification now has an external power supply that can be used in emergency situations. It is known that the car of the new model year has increased body rigidity by changing the radiator support mounts, and reduced the level of vibration by adjusting the position of the exhaust pipe.

Lexus also said that a couple of special versions of the RC F coupe will be released on the domestic market; they are called Enthusiast and Emotional Touring. Their total circulation is 50 copies (25 units for each special version): buyers will be selected from the total number of applicants using a lottery.

The two-door limited editions differ from the “regular” Lexus RC F and from each other due to changes in appearance. For example, the Enthusiast has a massive rear wing, while the Emotional Touring has a thinner active spoiler; Another distinctive feature of the first special version is the unpainted carbon fiber hood, while the second one is decorated in the body color. “Special” coupes received a black and blue interior, where the seats are trimmed with Alcantara and leather.
The two-door special versions are equipped with a 5.0-liter V8, which is located under the hood of the “charged” Performance RC F coupe. Its output is 481 hp, and it is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The price for the Enthusiast and Emotional Touring options is the same, it is 15 million yen.
