GAC Aion Hyper SSR is equipped with a three-motor electric power plant and weighs less than 2 tons; at the start of sales, the supercar is offered in three trim levels to choose from , including track Ultimate.
The Hyper SSR premiered in September last year, and now production has begun, with the first hand-assembled machines delivered to customers. The letters SSR in the name stand for Super, Sport and Race, and Hyper has essentially become an independent sports brand within the GAC company; a separate website has been launched for it, although the first two Hyper models — the SSR supercar and the GT fastback — are still represented and on the Aion brand website. Cars of the Hyper line will also be sold through Aion dealers for now.
