A concert with stars in Boldino will be shown on “Russia” on Pushkin’s birthday

MOSCOW, May 31. On the day of the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin — June 6, a gala concert «Reflection» will be held at the Boldino Museum-Reserve, live broadcast of which will be broadcast by the Rossiya TV channel.
“In the poet’s family estate, in the Boldino museum-reserve (Nizhny Novgorod region), a grandiose concert “Reflections” will take place. Millions of viewers will be able to see this unique festive event in a live broadcast of the Rossiya TV channel on June 6 at 21:20,” they reported in the press service of the TV channel.
The gala evening will take place in the open air on the banks of the Upper Pond in the ancient village of Bolshoye Boldino. A unique stage was created especially for the concert, which fits into the natural landscape of the museum and complements the composition of the estate and park.

“A complex lighting solution using video projection will maintain the atmosphere of a grandiose celebration. The artistic director of the concert will be maestro Yuri Bashmet. The hosts will be Daria Zlatopolskaya and Andrey Malakhov,” the TV channel clarified.

< br />The concert will be attended by famous artists, including Konstantin Khabensky, Evgeny Mironov, Marina Neyolova, Irina Pegova, Natalia Solzhenitsyna, Irina Kupchenko, Stanislav Lyubshin, Evgeny Tkachuk, Emir Kusturitsa, Pelageya, Polina Agureeva, Lev Zulkarnaev and many others. Spectators will also see performances by the Choir of the Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. A.S. Pushkin, the State Symphony Orchestra «New Russia» conducted by Yuri Bashmet and the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble named after Igor Moiseev.

Poems and excerpts from the works of Pushkin and other Russian writers will be heard from the stage. The music of great composers, whose work is associated with the poetry and prose of the classics, as well as the works of modern authors will be performed.

Museum-Reserve A.S. Pushkin «Boldino» is one of the most famous Pushkin places in Russia. In the village of Bolshoye Boldino there is the poet’s family estate. Of all the estates of the Pushkin family, only the Boldinsky estate was not destroyed during revolutions and wars. Bolshoye Boldino is a unique place where the great Russian poet worked on a number of his famous works, such as “Eugene Onegin”, “Belkin’s Tales”, “Little Tragedies”.
