Presidents of the United States and France Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron said they would seek the transfer of income from frozen assets of the Russian Federation to Kyiv. Reuters writes about this.

Biden and Macron reached such an agreement during negotiations in France.

“The presidents of the two countries will support at the level of the European Union and G7 steps to transfer income from frozen assets to Ukraine Russian assets,” is emphasized in the roadmap adopted by the parties.

It is also noted that the countries intend to act in accordance with international law and in accordance with national legal systems.
