Two Formula 1 drivers finished in the same time

MOSCOW, June 9 British Mercedes pilot George Russell and the Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen finished with the same qualifying time at the ninth round of the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, which takes place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
Both riders showed the result — 1 minute 12,000 seconds. The last time something like this happened was in 1997, then at the European Grand Prix in Jerez (Spain) three drivers showed the same best time — Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher and Heinz-Harald Frentzen.

Russell starts from pole position in Sunday's race, having set the best result first. Third place in qualifying went to Briton Lando Norris from McLaren (+0.021).
