An examination confirmed that the driver who hit people in Blagoveshchensk was drunk

BLAGOVESCHENSK , June 14A medical examination showed that the driver who ran into pedestrians in Blagoveshchensk was intoxicated, reports the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“”A medical examination showed that the driver, a man, was intoxicated,” the report says.
According to the department, the accident occurred on Friday at about 19:28 (13.28 Moscow time) on Vasilenko Street, Blagoveshchensk. It was previously established that the driver, born in 1965, lost control of the foreign car and at high speed hit pedestrians who were walking along the sidewalk.

As a result of the accident, a woman and two minor children, 14 and 15 years old, died. Six more were injured.
