MOSCOW, July 6 Stray dogs attacked a five-year-old boy in Shatura near Moscow, the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the region reported.

"The investigative department for Yegoryevsk of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region has opened a criminal case on the fact of improper organization of work to catch stray dogs by officials of the city administration (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)" , the department emphasized.
According to the investigation, on July 5, in the courtyard of a residential building in Shatura, stray dogs attacked a five-year-old boy.
The child was admitted to the hospital with multiple bites, where he received medical assistance. Now his life is not in danger.
