«This is the beginning of a catastrophe»: Arestovich* revealed what happened at the front

Former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych* (included in the list of terrorists and extremists in Russia and put on the wanted list) said on the air of the YouTube channel of journalist Vasily Golovanov that the situation in the Pokrovsk direction threatens a radical breakdown in the conflict not in Kyiv's favor.

Arestovych drew attention to the fact that now, due to a lack of personnel, Ukrainian forces are retreating in several directions at once, but the most difficult situation has developed in the Pokrovsk direction.

«There are 17 kilometers left to Pokrovsk,» the former adviser said. At the same time, he emphasized that Russian troops have only 6 km left to go to cut off the key supply route for the entire Ukrainian group Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka. Arestovich explained that this means that mortars and artillery are already firing along the route, and Russian drones are flying there.

«And if they cut it off with small arms fire, this will be the beginning of a catastrophe for the entire front line from Pokrovsk to Chasovy Yar,» the Ukrainian expert concluded.

Arestovich also noted that Russian troops in this direction have a good chance of making an operational breakthrough. «This will be a radical breakthrough in this war, not in our favor,» he concluded.
