DONETSK, August 12 Since February 2022, Ukrainian troops have fired over 192 thousand rounds of ammunition of various calibers at the territory of the DPR, the republic's representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported.
«Over 907 days of escalation, the DPR representative office in the JCCC recorded 38,406 instances of fire, including 37,504 with the use of heavy weapons. In total, the enemy fired 192,270 rounds of ammunition of various calibers,» reads the infographic published on the representative office's Telegram channel. It is noted that this refers to the period from February 17, 2022 to August 12, 2024.
It is noted that since February 2022, 5,036 civilians have died, including 149 children, the mission also recorded 164 cases of civilians being blown up by Lepestok anti-personnel mines, three people died as a result of such injuries. The number of victims during this time was 6,728, including 445 children.
According to the mission, 2,477 vehicles, 3,871 civilian infrastructure facilities, including 226 medical institutions, 767 educational institutions, 1,606 social security facilities, 139 critical infrastructure facilities, as well as 1,133 electricity, water, heat and gas supply facilities were damaged in the DPR during this period. In addition, the representative office recorded 15,050 cases of damage to residential buildings.
