MOSCOW, August 14 Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov was shown for the first time at the Army forum the developments of civilian small businesses and proactive citizens that are being delivered to the front, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
On Tuesday evening, Belousov visited the expositions of the international military-technical forum «Army-2024», where he was presented with samples of weapons and military equipment that have proven themselves effectively in the area of the special military operation.
«At the site of the «People's Defense Industry Complex», which is presented at the forum for the first time, Andrei Belousov was shown the developments of civilian small enterprises and proactive citizens, whose products are supplied to the front under the auspices of the All-Russian People's Front. Including a wide range of FPV drones and programs for training their operators, «trench electronic warfare», remote mobile platforms for controlling small arms and anti-tank guided systems,» the report says.
In addition, Belousov examined promising developments of domestic defense industry enterprises, robotic systems and platforms that have been tested in the SVO zone, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles designed to perform strike, reconnaissance and special missions, long-, medium- and short-range air defense systems, and other promising models of military equipment.
The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation also visited the expositions of the military departments of Belarus, the People's Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran and other foreign countries.
