KUBINKA (Moscow region), August 15 The Gumich company has developed a robotic four-wheeled mini-platform «Zhalo» to create «smart» minefields that allow armored vehicles of their troops to pass through and to combat enemy vehicles, the company's CEO Alexander Gavrilov said at the Army-2024 forum.
«Essentially, this is a smart minefield. An anti-tank mine TM-62 is placed on the «Zhalo», then 100-200 robots drive out onto the field. When their vehicles need to pass, they move apart, then return to their original position,» Gavrilov said.
The mini-platform, measuring no more than half a meter by half a meter, is equipped with four driving wheels, is equipped with a mine release system, and «knows how» to leave a mine in the right place and go on to the next mission.
The Army-2024 forum was held in the Patriot Park near Moscow from August 12 to 14.
