The price of the new Chinese brand is still not disclosed. «Live» sales of the model at Russian dealers will begin before the end of this month.
The Russian office of Chery announced a hybrid crossover for the local market in December last year, however, then the name of the novelty was left behind the scenes. The fact that Tiggo 8 Pro e + will act in her role became known at the beginning of March 2023. Recall that in China this model is sold under the name Tiggo 8 Plus Kunpeng e +. Now, company representatives have announced that dealers in the Russian Federation have begun to place pre-orders for the hybrid crossover.

Earlier it became known that the hybrid passed a set of various tests in the natural climatic and road conditions of the Russian Federation. With their help, the manufacturer, in particular, checked the start-up quality of the power plant and the charging speed at low temperatures, studied the tightness of the crossover, fuel consumption when using the recovery system (and without), tested the functionality of the complex of security systems in bad weather (during snowfall, rain and ice ).
Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + is equipped with a hybrid power plant, which is based on a gasoline 1.5-liter turbo engine with 147 hp, its maximum torque is 210 Nm. The engine works in tandem with two electric motors, they give out another 88 hp within 30 minutes. The total output of this system is 235 hp. The kit includes a three-speed robotic gearbox DHT (Dedicated Hybrid Transmission), developed by Chery specifically for petrol-electric cars.
According to the results of tests in the Russian Federation, Chery found that the maximum mileage with a full gas tank and a fully charged electric battery (when driving in mode «highway») is up to 1000 km. The company also noted that under ideal conditions, fuel consumption per 100 km of track is 1 liter; when operating in real conditions, the indicator starts from 1.3 liters of 92nd gasoline.
Also in the list of results obtained is the range of a rechargeable hybrid crossover when driving in a purely electric mode — 75 km (when calculated according to the NEDC cycle). The battery capacity is still not indicated, in China the figure for the same power reserve is 19.27 kWh. The Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e+ takes 7.5 seconds to accelerate from standstill to hundreds, and its top speed is limited to 180 km/h.
The Russian office of Chery noted that the first buyers of the novelty, who complete the deal before the end of next month, will receive a powerful charging station for the hybrid as a gift, as well as a certificate for its installation. This home wall-mounted stationary station has a power of 7 kW, it allows you to fully charge the hybrid battery in 2.5 hours, which is about 70% faster than from a conventional outlet. Customers will be able to buy this branded charging station, its price will be approximately 262 thousand rubles.
The company has not yet disclosed the price of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e+. It is known that «live» sales of the model from Russian dealers will begin before the end of this month. Recall that in the Russian Federation today a purely gasoline front-wheel drive Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover with a 1.6 TGDI turbo four (186 hp, 275 Nm) and a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches is offered. Its starting price tag is 3,539,900 rubles. For an all-wheel drive Tiggo 8 Pro Max with a 2.0 TGDI turbo engine (197 hp, 375 Nm) and 7DCT, they ask for at least 3,970,900 rubles.
