A year and a half after the world premiere, the new generation Ford Ranger has reached the North American market, where it will have a special, more powerful than in other markets, engine range.
The new Ford Ranger made its world premiere in November 2021 in Australia, the sporty version of the Ranger Raptor debuted in February 2022, and the North American show took place a week before the premiere Toyota Tacoma new generation.
Toyota Tacoma has dominated the US mid-size pickup truck segment in recent years, with 237,323 units sold last year, down 6.3% from 2021. The overall length of the American Ford Ranger is 5349 mm, the wheelbase is 3269 mm, the useful body length is 1514 mm, the ground clearance for rear-wheel drive versions is 236 mm, for all-wheel drive versions it is 264 mm. The maximum load capacity is 819 kg, the permissible weight of the towed trailer is 3.4 tons. For the body, you can order a full-fledged 400 W household socket, and the folded tailgate can be used as a desktop — it is equipped with clamps and a ruler.

All US versions of the Ford Ranger have a two-row SuperCrew cab. Under the folding cushion of the rear seat there are roomy niches for oversized luggage. The virtual instrument screen has a diagonal of 8 or 12.4 inches, the multimedia screen is 10.1 or 12 inches. The range of electronic driver assistants is richer than ever with 31 items, including smart trailer assistant and adaptive cruise control with traffic mode.
