Orders for the Voyah Passion electric sedan (in China, the model is called Zhuiguang, aka Chasing Light) were opened in Russia in April, but without prices. Now the price list has been published, and sales have started at the same time. Recall that the Voyah premium brand belongs to the Dongfeng concern, and exclusively electrified cars are produced under it. Today, there are three models in the range, and all of them are available on our market: in addition to the sedan, it is also the Free crossover and the Dream minivan (the SUV and MPV, unlike the four-door, have both purely electric and hybrid versions). Well, let's add that in Russia the official importer of Voyah is Motorinvest, which has launched the production of Chinese electric trains under its own brand Evolute in the Lipetsk region. At the same time, local assembly of the “premium” is not planned; cars are delivered to the Russian Federation directly from China.

Like other models of the brand, the Passion sedan is built on the ESSA (Electric Smart Secure Architecture) platform. The length of the «four-door» is 5088 mm, width — 1970 mm, height — 1505 mm, wheelbase — 3000 mm. Trunk capacity is 410 liters, plus there is an additional 53 liter compartment in the front.
We have Voyah Passion in two versions — EV and EV Long Range, both have air suspension and both are equipped with two electric motors (that is, the sedan is all-wheel drive by default), which together produce 510 hp. and 730 Nm. The difference is in the battery. The “four-door” Passion EV received a battery with a capacity of 82 kWh, it should be enough for 483 km of travel (according to the WLTP cycle). The Voyah Passion EV Long Range has a 108.73 kWh battery, and the range of this version is already 608 km. The base sedan will pick up the first «hundred» in 3.8 seconds, the maximum speed is 210 km/h; the performance of the second option is 4.2 seconds and 205 km/h.

The list of standard equipment includes: all-LED optics, 20-inch black wheels (for a surcharge, they can be orange, blue or brown — in body color), retractable door handles, a panoramic roof, a scoreboard almost the entire width of the front panel (it consists of several screens), a head-up display, an additional screen on the central tunnel, four-zone climate control, flush-mounted electric air vents, wireless charging for a smartphone and a standard video recorder.

B the arsenal of both versions also includes all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, auto-braking systems, monitoring of «blind» zones and keeping in the lane, a driving mode selection system, a car park and assistants in traffic jams and driving on the highway. A sedan with an older battery is also matrix headlights, “suede” headlining instead of fabric and steering wheel heating. Voyah Passion EV Long Range – 9,690,000 rubles. For comparison, the purely electric crossover Voyah Free now costs from 8,890,000 rubles.
