The SUV and its elongated version have been improved in appearance, there are new things in the cabin. At home, crosses are now available with two engines to choose from.
The compact “five-door” SsangYong Tivoli began its market career in 2015, a year later it was joined by a stretched version, which in its native Korea carries the prefix Air, and in other countries is known as XLV (while both modifications are strictly five-seater). The “short” cross experienced a full-fledged restyling in 2019, his brother in 2020. And now the model has been finalized again: this time both versions have been modernized at the same time, and these are no longer SsangYong products, but KG Mobility. Recall that the Korean automaker changed its name in March of this year, because the local conglomerate KG Group became the main shareholder.
KG Mobility Tivoli and pre-reform SsangYong Tivoli
Tivoli and Tivoli Air changed their expression: SUVs got a new front bumper with a trapezoidal grille, and instead of long slots under the bonnet, three small holes appeared. The «short» crossover also retouched the rear bumper. Well, both versions also lost the SsangYong emblem, although the logo for KG Mobility has not yet been invented (but the corresponding nameplates are still attached). The length of the “just” Tivoli has not changed (4425 mm), for the Tivoli Air this figure has increased by 15 mm (now 4495 mm). The wheelbase is the same — it's the same 2600 mm.

Inside, there is a new display of the multimedia system, with touch buttons instead of physical ones, but the size has not changed (9 inches). In addition, the crossovers received a touch-sensitive climate control unit. The family also provides virtual tidy, seven airbags, auto-braking and lane keeping systems.

After a long break in the range of «short» crossover, the gasoline «aspirated» 1.6 (126 hp) returned. Also, Tivoli can still be purchased with a 1.5 turbo four (163 hp), and only the turbo engine is put on the extended Tivoli Air. Both engines are mated to a six-speed Aisin automatic, only the “simple” Tivoli with 1.5T has all-wheel drive, the other versions are front-wheel drive. The turbodiesel 1.6 has long been out of the model in Korea, its comeback is not planned.
Extended KG Mobility Tivoli Air 1/2 Extended KG Mobility Tivoli Air 2/2 : The price of KG Mobility Tivoli starts at around $14,300, while a turbo-powered cross is asking for a minimum of $16,700. The extended KG Mobility Tivoli Air with 1.5T starts at $17,300.
