The Romanian sub-brand model owned by the French company is expected to hit the European market in 2026.
Dacia corporate identity
The Romanian sub-brand, owned by the French company Renault, may release a tall, large liftback, designed in corporate style: this model is supposed to take the place of the flagship of the Dacia line. According to preliminary data, such a novelty will appear on the European market in 2026. The company will apparently declassify her name later.
So far, there is no official information about what the future Dacia flagship will look like. The designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es shared with us his version of what kind of appearance such a novelty could get. It is expected that the length of the model will be a little over 4.6 meters, and the so-called “raised” liftback will be chosen as the body.

Judging by the render, the car can get LED head optics, designed in accordance with the brand's current family style. True, compared to the current second-generation European Duster and Jogger cross-station wagon, double strokes will probably diverge from the center logo, which will go over the running lights, made in the shape of the letter “Y”.

The lower part of the front bumper is occupied by a huge air intake with a pattern in the form of horizontally elongated honeycombs. Also, judging by the image, the future “five-door” around the perimeter of the body has a body kit made of unpainted plastic, an embossed hood, an inscription with the brand name on the sidewall, a black roof and the same color of the side mirror housings, recessed front door handles and integrated into the roof pillars — at the rear.
According to unofficial data, the engine range of the still unnamed model will be electrified. It is expected that the flagship liftback will receive options with mild-hybrid power plants, which will be based on gasoline engines working in tandem with 48-volt “electronics”. Recall that last spring it became known that Dacia in 2024 would launch the production of Jogger in Africa, at a plant in Moroccan Tangier (Dacia Sandero and Renault Express heels are now produced here). This will free up space at Dacia's head office in the Romanian city of Mioveni, which will receive the new Duster in the same 2024, and the Bigster in 2025.
