By the way, the QX PHEV hybrid crossover shown in the spring was also Jack, that is, it is possible that the Sehol brand will be liquidated. Well, let us recall that the original Chinese liftback is also available in Russia — we call it JAC J7. And soon the “five-door” will be registered in the Russian Federation as the second model of the revived Moskvich brand — like Moskvich 6. But back to the Plus.

So, JAC A5 Plus is a fusion of the original Sehol A5 liftback and the “sported” Sehol Yao (it was he who became the donor for Moskvich 6). The body is like that of a more expensive liftback, but without an additional red body kit, Plus is also deprived of a large spoiler on the tailgate. In terms of length and wheelbase, the new version is the same as Sehol Yao — 4780 and 2770 mm versus 4772 and 2760 mm for the «simple» A5.

The interior is also generally the same as that of the “sporty” liftback: from the latest A5 Plus, it inherited the front panel, steering wheel and multimedia system with a vertical touchscreen slightly rising above the panel. But the box selector and buttons on the central tunnel are located differently, in addition, it is still unknown whether the Plus got a two-story tunnel or it is “solid”, like the base model. The JAC A5 Plus is also promised all-round cameras and a panoramic sunroof.
