The new images show the front of both new models from the Japanese premium brand. Only a few days left before the debut.
Lexus previously announced the imminent expansion of the lineup due to two models at once: the first teasers of the large TX crossover and the next generation GX SUV were published in the first half of last month. Now the manufacturer has been generous with a couple of new shots, and each of them captures the front of one of the new products. The premiere of the Lexus SUV will take place on the evening of June 8 (in the Russian Federation it will be the ninth day).
New Lexus TX teaser
Lexus TX will be the closest “relative” of the crossover Toyota Grand Highlander, which debuted in early February 2023. The main market for both models will be the States. Recall that the first teaser showed part of the sidewall of the future novelty, the next portion of the pictures showed the interior of the SUV, and now the Japanese brand has shown the front of the TX.

The teaser shows head optics with narrow “wedges” of running lights, part of a trapezoidal radiator grille, a brand logo located in the center under the edge of the hood, and a side mirror with a chrome insert. The lower part of the front bumper is still “behind the scenes”. Also, the novelty will have a “floating” roof (due to black pillars).

Judging by the photo of the interior, the crossover has a three-row interior (like the related Grand), and the seating formula is 2 + 2 + 2, where the second row consists of two separate seats. Another image shows the elements of the TX door panels, decorated in the current corporate style and part of the front panel with a side ventilation deflector.
The Lexus TX will be based on the same GA-K modular platform that underpins Toyota's sister crossover. So far, there is still no official information about the technology of the future Lexus crossover. At the same time, among the registered trademarks were the designations TX350, TX500h and TX550h +, that is, obviously, the model will be offered with a “traditional” internal combustion engine, in the form of a “normal”, as well as rechargeable hybrids.
New next generation Lexus GX teaser
As we have already noted, another novelty that Lexus is preparing to present in a few days will be the next generation GX SUV. Previously, the company showed head optics, as well as incomplete sidewall and stern. Today's teaser showed the front of the future news. The picture shows a black spindle-shaped radiator grille with a large brand logo, the same color roof with full roof rails and exterior mirror housings. The air intake integrated into the lower part of the front bumper is painted in body color and visually locates on a massive “grill”.

According to preliminary information, the Lexus GX will retain the frame and share the platform with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX (more precisely, it will most likely be based on a shortened version of the GA-F “bogie”, which was created in within the Toyota TNGA architecture). The model is likely to have hybrid modifications. The current GX all-wheel drive SUV is available with a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 petrol, which is paired with a six-speed automatic. It is expected that after the Lexus SUV, the generation will be replaced by the related Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
