Jetour launches in Russia with large crossover X90 Plus: prices and specifications

The new SUV is offered with two motors, but you won't be able to choose a box. The bundles are not poor, including the «base», but the prices are corresponding.

The fact that Jetour, Chery's subsidiary, will enter the Russian market, was officially announced in March of this year. Recall that the brand works for us separately from the local office of the mother Cherie, the distributor Jetur Motor Rus has been created for the brand, cars are delivered directly from China. By the way, Jetour already has 64 partners in the Russian Federation: according to the consumer site, dealerships are open in about 40 cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Irkutsk, Samara, Krasnodar and Yaroslavl. In terms of its dimensions, the SUV is comparable to the Toyota Highlander: the length of the “Chinese” is 4858 mm, the width is 1925 mm, the height is 1780 mm, the wheelbase is 2850 mm. It is curious that the seven-seat Jetour X90 Plus was originally announced for the Russian Federation, but so far the cross has been offered only with a five-seat interior. Trunk volume is 486 liters, with the second row folded down, this figure will increase to 1052 liters.

In Russia, the X90 Plus is available with two engines to choose from — these are petrol turbo fours 1.6 TGDI (190 hp, 275 Nm) and 2.0 TGDI (244 hp, 375 Nm). Both engines are combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two «wet» clutches. Front wheel drive only.

A crossover with a base 1.6 TGDI turbo engine is presented in Comfort and Luxury trim levels, a model with a 2.0 TGDI can be purchased in Elite and Luxury versions. All SUVs by default have LED optics, 20-inch wheels, ESP, leather interior, power adjustment and ventilation of the driver's seat, panoramic roof, all-round cameras, combined virtual tidy and touchscreen multimedia systems (each display is 12.3 inches), climate control with a touch control panel (9.7 inches), as well as a “winter package” (heated mirrors, windshield, washer nozzles, steering wheel and all seats). The Elite and Luxury versions also include a start-stop function, a driver's seat with lumbar support and memory function, and a set of electronic assistants (the full list has not yet been made public).

The price of the Jetour X90 Plus with 1.6 TGDI in the Comfort version is 3,249,900 rubles, in the Luxury package — 3,369,900 rubles. A crossover with 2.0 TGDI in the Elite version costs 3,569,900 rubles, in the Luxury version — 3,689,900 rubles. The first crossovers will reach official dealers by the end of this week.
