Labor ousted shadow minister Bambos Charalambous pending official complaint his intended behavior.
Bambos Charalambous, Shadow Foreign Secretary and MP for Enfield Southgate, was the subject of a formal complaint to the Labor Party's independent complaints process.
Mr Charalambous, who said, that he was «fully active» with the review, the whip was removed and the party administratively removed him from office.
Mr Charalambous tweeted: «I am aware that there is an allegation that requires an investigation by the Labor party.
“It is right and appropriate that the process is allowed. I will fully cooperate and play my full role.
«It's not appropriate to say anything else now.»
Mr Charalambous has been contacted for comment.
This comes just over a week after the party suspended MP Geraint Davies following allegations of sexual harassment by a number of women . Two formal complaints have subsequently been filed with Labour, including one from a sitting Labor MP.
Labor's new complaints process, signed at the party conference last autumn, covers all protected characteristics, including race, disability and sexuality , and all forms of discrimination.
