A Chinese SUV with an unusual design is available on our market with 1.5 and 1.6 turbo engines, but four-wheel drive is not provided. The model is presented in four trim levels.
Last week, Jetour, a subsidiary of Chery, announced the start of sales in the Russian Federation of a large X90 Plus crossover. And now the price list of the second SUV has been published – this is a compact and much more spectacular Dashing (“deshing”, in China the model is called Dasheng). Recall that the brand works for us separately from the local office of mother Cherie, a distributor Jetur Motor Rus has been created for Jetour, cars are delivered directly from the Middle Kingdom. At home, the SUV made its debut last year. Appearance features – two-story head optics (strips of running lights are located on top), a frameless radiator grille, retractable door handles, mirrors on separate legs and taillights in the form of “games”. The interior is minimalist. By the way, interior design varies depending on the technique, but more on that below. The Dashing has a boot capacity of 486 liters, which increases to 977 liters with the second row folded down.
In the Russian market, the crossover is offered with two petrol “turbo-fours” to choose from, familiar from other Chery models: the base 1.5 TCI engine produces 147 hp. and 210 Nm, it is paired with a six-speed “mechanics” or a six-speed robotic box with two clutches (6DCT); 1.6 TGDI engine output – 190 hp and 275 Nm, he is supposed to 7DCT. Both engines can be “powered” by the AI-92, while the drive is exclusively front. In a cross with 1.5 TCI, the gearbox selector is habitually located on the central tunnel, but in Dashing with 1.6 TGDI, transmission control is assigned to the steering column switch, plus this version has an original tunnel with a “floating” section and a more spacious niche.

At the same time, the crossover with “mechanics” is presented in the second oldest version, with the Plus, although it is still the cheapest, and the SUV with 1.6 TGDI is only in the top version. The price of Dashing is in the range of from 2,339,900 to 3,039,900 rubles.

The Dashing Luxury 1.5T also features heated second row seats, curtain airbags, a rain sensor, underbody visibility (180°), blind spot monitoring, lane change assistance and rear collision avoidance. Well, the crossover with 1.6 TGDI still has a dual-zone “climate”, an air ionizer, “memory” for mirror and driver’s seat settings, multimedia with a 15.6-inch tablet, front parking sensors, adaptive “cruise”, auto braking and headlight switching systems. In addition, on the doors of the most expensive SUV, there are additional screens that display the temperature outside.
The crossover in the Comfort Plus version received 18-inch wheels, the rest of the versions got 19-inch wheels.
