Law changes: Nine women sue Bill Cosby for sexual harassment

Nine women in Nevada are suing Bill Cosby for alleged sexual assault after state law changes.

According to the lawsuit, the 85-year-old star drugged or attempted to drug women before having intercourse. Attack. The alleged attacks took place in Nevada between 1979 and 1992, in many cases in his Las Vegas hotel room.

Cosby was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2018 on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

'Power, fame and prestige'

In the latest lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. District Court in Nevada, Cosby is accused of using his «tremendous power, fame and prestige» to isolate and sexually abuse nine alleged victims.

Liz-Lotte Lublin, one of the alleged victims, claims in the lawsuit that Cosby gave her two drinks to help her relax. Then, when she felt disoriented, he grabbed her wrists and held her between her legs while he masturbated.

Heidi Thomas, another alleged victim, said she came from Denver, Colorado, in 1984, thinking he's going to leave. be Cosby's mentor. She took a sip and passed out. When she woke up, Cosby attacked her.

Cosby's spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, said the women sued Cosby was motivated by their «addiction to massive amounts of attention and media greed.»

He added in a statement: «From this day forward, we will not allow these women to flaunt various accounts. …more against Mr. Cosby without testing them in the court of public opinion and in the courtroom.”
