The Italian company has unveiled its second model, a four-door electric car with a four-seat interior. The novelty debuted in concept status.
Startup Aehra went public last June and is headquartered in Milan. The founders are entrepreneurs Hazim Nada and Sandro Andreotti, and Filippo Perini, who previously worked at Lamborghini, was invited to the position of chief designer. So far, the four-door is presented in concept status, however, according to Filippo Perini, the shown electric car looks “almost identical to the production model.” The chief designer noted that both electric cars — both a sedan and a crossover — will be on sale in the European and American markets in 2026.
It is known that the Aehra Sedan is based on the same platform on which the first-born of the brand is based, it has a similar layout with a cabin shifted forward, designed for four riders — the second row consists of two separate seats. The company does not change its principles: it is reported that there will be enough space inside even for «full-size players of the American NBA.»
The design style of the Aehra Sedan has much in common with the Aehra SUV — the same streamlined body lines, narrow slanted headlights, a sporty lower part of the front bumper with original air intakes. In addition, the novelty has the same four lifting doors of the “butterfly wings” design (with complex kinematics). And just like the crossover, the traditional exterior mirrors have been replaced by cameras that mount to the A-pillars. p>The interior of the second model of the Italian brand is the same as that of the first-born Aehra. There is a large (full width of the front panel) display that “hides” while the electric car is moving. When the Sedan is parked, the digital panel can be lifted up and used as a large monitor. In the cabin, you can also see the touchscreen that replaced the center console. The company said that the fully “green” Aehra Sedan power plant includes three electric motors, the total output of the system will be from 750 to 820 hp. The four-door was equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 120 kWh, according to the manufacturer, the range of the electric car without recharging is 800 km. The novelty has a maximum speed of 265 km/h. compete with Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-AMG EQS. It is possible that by 2026 other competitors will appear in the niche. According to preliminary data, in Europe the price tag of the model will be about 160 thousand euros, the official price list of Aehra Sedan will be published closer to the start of sales.
