Joe Biden's critics were quick to seize on the phrase. a speech with his latest gaffe, which reads, «God save the queen.»
Using a phrase that may not have been heard on American soil since around 1776, the US president has baffled gun safety advocates, interrupting the call to Connecticut.
Mr. Biden told the audience at the National Summit for Safer Communities in West Hartford that bad weather was coming to the area, and therefore he would not be able to shake hands with all the participants, which he publicly known. the relationship is called the “rope.”
The US President said, “I will stand in front of every section—no, I'm serious—if you see a camera, they can see you. I promise this is the least important part of this whole meeting for you.”
Then, before putting down the microphone, he said, “Okay? God save the Queen, man.»

The President's critics immediately picked up on this phrase, and the phrase «God Save the Queen» became trending on Twitter.

While reporting on the speech, Fox News host Neil Cavuto wondered aloud why Biden said that.
«Were they playing a Monty Python parody or something?» asked Mr. Cavuto.
Other Twitter users pointed out that Mr. Biden had used the phrase before to end his speeches.
White House Press Office clarified Mr. on Biden on Friday night. A spokesman told The Independent that the president «was unable to walk the whole tightrope due to the weather and was commenting to someone in the crowd.»
Connecticut was one of 13 colonies that declared independence from Britain. monarchy in 1776 and the fifth state to ratify the US Constitution.
