The American brand's new electric car with a range of up to 500 km on a single charge is expected to be available in 2025.
Tesla brand products continue to be in demand in many countries of the world, including the European market. Last month, the American manufacturer confirmed that in the coming years, the lineup will be replenished with several new products. The Tesla Model 2 compact crossover will play the role of one of them, there is still little official information about it.
p>Earlier, the company showed a sketch of the future novelty, but there were no other details about the appearance of the model yet. The designer of the Spanish publication Motor.es offers his own version of the potential appearance of the future novelty. Tesla Model 2 is supposed to get slightly more ground clearance than a traditional compact.

Judging by the render, the model will have a streamlined body with a sloping roof that smoothly turns into the stern. Even the future SUV was painted head optics with a complex pattern elongated along the hood line. A small air intake is integrated into the lower part of the front bumper, along the perimeter of the body you can see a laconic body kit made of unpainted plastic. It is visually supported by recessed black door handles, a matching roof and exterior mirror trims.
Tesla Model Y
There are no images of the interior of the Tesla Model 2 yet. It is assumed that it will be issued in the same style as the «big brothers», although with certain updates. Probably, the usual large touch screen of the infotainment system will be placed on the center console. Before the driver's eyes will be a virtual instrument panel. According to preliminary data, the basic version of the future compact crossover will be equipped with a 53 kWh traction battery, such a modification of the Model 2 will be able to travel up to 400 km on a single charge. The top-end version is likely to receive a 75 kWh battery, it is expected that its maximum range on a single charge will be 500 km. Other details about the electric “stuffing” will appear later.
According to the plan, the new Tesla brand will debut in the middle of next year, after which the manufacturer will begin taking orders for it almost immediately. At the same time, as noted in the publication, deliveries and «live» sales of the Model 2 will begin no earlier than 2025.

Meanwhile, at the end of last month, it became known that the Tesla Roadster the second generation is delayed again. In addition, there are no clear prospects for this model yet. Recall that the new product was announced in 2017, it was assumed that its production would begin in 2020, but now the fourth quarter of 2024 is called as the estimated launch date for the assembly (it may be postponed).
