The truck, based on the Small Wide platform, will be offered in three versions with petrol and diesel 2.0-liter turbo engines.
Cars of the American brand Ram, which is part of the auto giant Stellantis, are presented both in the States and in other markets, including Brazil. Previously, the company announced the appearance of a new pickup truck designed for the South American market; teasers, videos and photos of disguised prototypes were published. And now the Ram Rampage little truck has been completely declassified.
The name of the novelty — Rampage — is translated from English as «excitement», «fury» or «rage». Earlier, the company noted that the model with this name is designed to “shake up” the Brazilian pickup segment. This name was previously used by the Dodge brand: under it, from 1982 to 1984, a truck with a single cab was produced. And in 2006, the manufacturer used the word Rampage for a concept pickup truck with a two-row cab and rear sliding doors, the project did not go beyond a show car.

Rampage is developed jointly by Ram engineers from Brazil and the USA. Previously, the manufacturer has already shown the exterior of a small pickup, now you can see it in detail. The truck was equipped with a large radiator grill (it can be black or chrome, depending on the version), a body kit around the perimeter of the body made of unpainted plastic and black exterior mirror housings. The novelty also has a embossed hood and LED head optics with C-shaped running lights. The pickup received traditional door handles painted in body color. On the stern there is a large inscription with the brand name and a nameplate indicating the version. The design of the lanterns is somewhat reminiscent of the US flag.
Overall length Ram Rampage is 5028 mm, width — 1886 mm, height — 1780 mm, and the distance between the axles of the novelty is 2994 mm. The basic version received 17- or 18-inch wheels, seven airbags, a 10.3-inch virtual instrument panel, a multimedia system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a 12.3-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, black leather seats, power driver's seat, rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, remote start function. The list of safety systems includes blind spot monitoring, lane keeping, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic braking. jpg» />In the photo: Ram Rampage R/T
The top version boasts black leather and suede trim with red accents, 19-inch wheels. In addition, this version has a sports suspension and a sports exhaust system. For an additional fee, exclusive body colors are available, as well as a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
The Ram Rampage is based on the same Small Wide platform that powers the Fiat Toro pickup truck, as well as Jeep crossovers Compass and Renegade. The base in the engine range is the 2.0-liter Multijet Turbo turbodiesel with a capacity of 170 hp, its maximum torque is 380 Nm. From standstill to “hundreds”, such a pickup truck accelerates in 10.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is 186 km/h.

This motor is available for any of the three versions of the model, while the top pickup Rampage accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, and its “maximum speed” is limited to 220 km/h. The two remaining versions have 7.1 seconds and 210 km/h respectively.

For a starting pickup, they ask for at least 239,990 Brazilian reals (equivalent to about 4.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and the richest option will cost no less than 269,990 reals (about 4.7 million rubles).
