The price of the SUV with the Final Edition addition is already known: in Germany, the purchase will cost 196,350 euros. A total of 1,500 of these cars will be produced.
Mercedes-Benz has been producing its legendary G-Class SUV at the Magna Steyr plant in Graz, Austria since 1979. Last spring, the model celebrated the achievement of another significant bar: the total circulation reached 500,000 copies. In the current range there is a version of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 with a V8 engine, but soon this option will disappear: the Germans have prepared a farewell version of the Final Edition.

Serial production of Gelendevagens with eight-cylinder engines began in 1998. Now, for the sake of electrification and increasing environmental requirements in the EU, the era of such SUVs is gradually becoming a thing of the past. Mercedes-Benz G 500 Final Edition can be recognized by the corresponding inscription on the side moldings, door sills, as well as on the cover in which the spare tire is located on the tailgate. There is also a logo projector in the exterior mirrors.

Three new body colors are offered for the limited edition — Olive Magno Green, Obsidian Black and Opalith White Magno. In addition, the model was equipped with 20-inch wheels of the original design, and their elements are painted in the same colors as the body.
The G 500 Final Edition also has differences in the cabin: the car received a two-tone (black-brown or black-and-white with contrasting stitching) genuine leather upholstery, and even the ceiling is trimmed. The car key also has a limited edition plate on it.
The Mercedes-Benz G 500 Final Edition is equipped with a standard 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, its output is 421 hp and maximum torque is 610 Nm. It is worth noting that the V8 engine will remain in the model line for the time being: it will still be placed under the hood of the “charged” Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV (here it produces 585 hp and 850 Nm).

By the way, today the German manufacturer has declassified a special version of the G 63 Grand Edition. Such cars have a black body color with gold decorative elements (decorations on the sidewalls, a spare wheel ring, etc. are in the decor list), as well as 22-inch gold-colored wheels.
The interior is trimmed in nappa leather, and the passenger handle on the front panel has a carbon fiber insert and an inscription with the name of the limited edition. The circulation of the «hot» version with the addition of the Grand Edition will be 1000 copies, the price of such an SUV in Germany starts at 228,896 euros.
Let's get back to the Mercedes-Benz G 500 Final Edition. The limited series will be 1,500 copies: 500 SUVs of each of the above body colors. The release of the farewell version will last from September 2023 to March 2024. According to the company, the starting price tag of this option is 196,350 euros, and now dealers are already collecting pre-orders.
