Harry Kane has set his sights on a triumphant return to London later this season after aiming for Champions League glory with Bayern Munich at Wembley.
This year's Champions League final is taking place at the national stadium and Kane has made it clear he intends to fight for the biggest trophy in club football after completing his £86m move to Germany.
Kane was presented to the world media at the Allianz Arena on Sunday, the day after his debut for Bayern, and he vowed to push himself «to the limit» in pursuit of big rewards at his new club.
The England captain weathered several days of storm as his record-breaking move to Bayern came to an end, revealing he didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to his former Tottenham Hotspur teammates before flying to Germany.
Now he is focused on adapting to the Bundesliga and settling his family in the country, and then aims for the first silver of his career.
«I want to play at the highest level, I want to play in the Champions League» — Kane said. “I want to fight for titles every year. Moving to Bayern Munich, one of the biggest clubs in the world, gives me that opportunity.
“The final is still a long way off, but the Wembley final is definitely exciting. [Part of the reason] to join this club was to try to win the Champions League and have a good chance of winning.
“There is a long way to go, but this prospect of trying to win for me personally would be amazing at Wembley. I'm not going to lie. We'll have to see how the season goes first, and hopefully we can get there.»

Kane's priority now is Bayern, but he has left the door open for a return to English football and a renewed assault on Alan Shearer's Premier League performance. Kane left the Premier League with 213 goals, 47 goals behind Shearer.
“It has always been a difficult decision,” Kane said. “I have been at Tottenham for 19 years of my life, so the club is connected to my heart, but I am a professional and have always pushed myself. I thought it was time to play at the highest level. I had to try to win titles every year. Bayern contacted us and that was the decision I wanted to make.
“Of course people talk about the record and Shearer, but there is still a lot of football in my career. For now, I want to focus on achieving something here and trying to get to the next level.”
Kane admitted he didn't want to end up hanging up his boots with regrets about never having lived in another country and said he spoke with England teammate Kieran Trippier about his time at Atlético Madrid.
Harry Kane at Bayern. journey ahead«I remember David Beckham going to Madrid and how important it was,» Kane said. “I never wanted to end my career and regret not getting to know other leagues and different cultures and that was an important part of the decision.
“I talked a lot with Tripps about his time in Madrid and he loved every second of it. New environment, new team. I think it helped him a lot as a player. I hope this does the same for me. I am here for many reasons, not only for football, but also for life. I want to immerse myself in this culture.”
Kane intends to take German lessons “once or twice a week” and will look for a home for his young family in the coming days. His wife Kate is pregnant, adding to the logistical challenges of moving to a new country.
When the time comes in the coming weeks, he intends to return to the Spurs to say an emotional goodbye to the players, coaches and staff of his former club.

«I didn't get a chance to [say goodbye],» Kane said. “I sent the group a text to say I was leaving and I said that when I had time I would come back and say goodbye properly. Not only the players, but also the staff, the chef, the pickers, the physiotherapists, with whom I have spent over 15 years of my life. I didn't have that time because everything was so good and bad.”
Kane flew to Germany on Friday and didn't complete his signed duties until early Saturday morning. He then went straight into Thomas Tuchel's side, who lost 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the German Supercup on Saturday. «The last 48 hours have been like a roller coaster,» he admitted.
Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Driesen said Kane would be a «big asset» to the Bundesliga and added that his decision to join club proves the division's appeal to 'world-class players'.
He also promised to dine with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy after weeks of 'tough talks' over Kane's future. “It was a long process,” admitted Driesen. “We needed a lot of perseverance. Levy and I have become closer over the last couple of weeks. Daniel knows what he wants. We both have a good feeling after all.”
