Russian office Changan announced the start of sales of the Lamore sedan, and this is the ninth official premiere of the brand in our country in 2023. The rest are four-door Alsvin and Eado Plus, a large Uni-V liftback, a Hunter Plus pickup truck, CS85, Uni-T, CS75 Plus and CS95 crossovers. And the entire line of the Chinese brand now includes 15 models in Russia (along with restyling and cars of different generations).
Recall that this four-door entered the home market in the spring, in its native China it is called Yida. Appearance features — a frameless radiator grille, narrow diode optics and retractable door handles. Changan Lamore/Yida length is 4770 mm, width is 1840 mm, height is 1440 mm, wheelbase is 2765 mm. That is, the sedan is a direct competitor to Chery Arrizo 8 and Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max available in the Russian Federation. And when compared with models of non-Chinese brands, then in terms of dimensions, Lamore is between Hyundai Elantra and Sonata. As in China, Changan Lamore is presented in Russia with one engine: it is a 1.5 petrol turbo four, which produces 166 hp in our version. and 300 Nm (in China, the power is 170 hp, but the torque is lower there — 260 Nm). The engine is combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two «wet» clutches. Drive only forward.

The package is also the same, it includes: 18-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, light and rain sensors, eco-leather upholstery, both screens mentioned, a regular DVR, climate control, wireless charging for a smartphone, a face recognition system, cameras all-round visibility, six airbags, ESP, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring systems, traffic jam assistant. There is also a smart key with which you can, for example, start the engine or find a car in the parking lot. But only the driver's seat is heated.

Competitors are more expensive: the Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max sedan with a 1.5 turbo engine (190 hp) and 7DCT at the price list today costs 2,990,000 rubles, and for Chery Arrizo 8 with 1.6T (186 hp) and 7DCT they ask for at least 3,359 RUB 900 (including current direct discount of RUB 150,000).
