Republican presidential candidates are set to go head-to-head in debates for the second time in Simi Valley, Calif.
At the first debate in Milwaukee in August, Vivek Ramaswamy dominated the stage despite being the political newcomer of the night.
And although Donald Trump was not in attendance, he declared victory after posting a matching interview with Tucker Carlson that received more than 100 million views.
This time around, Ron DeSantis and the other candidates will certainly want to recapture some of the spotlight.
When is the first Republican debate?
The debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California, on September 27 at 9:00 pm: 00 EST.
For UK viewers, that's September 28, 2 a.m. BST.

Viewers in the US will be able to watch the debate on Fox Business.
The debate will also be broadcast live on Rumble, a video-sharing service popular among conservatives, and on Univision.
Who will attend?
Seven candidates have now cleared the Republican National Committee threshold to appear on the debate stage.

And a condition of participating in RNC debates is that each candidate signs a pledge indicating that they will support the eventual Republican nominee.

The questions that will be asked to candidates have not yet been disclosed.
It was announced that Stuart Varney and Dana Perino of Fox News Media will moderate the debate along with Elijah Calderon of Univision.

What is Trump doing instead?
In August, Trump said he would not attend the primary debates. “The public knows who I am. what a successful presidency I’ve had,” he wrote on Truth Social. “So I will not be participating in the debate.”
