The all-electric SUV and its coupe-like version, which were brought to the 2024 model year, have an increased range on a single charge, and also The list of equipment has become richer.
The most compact crossover in the “green” line of the German brand — Audi Q4 e-tron — was presented in the spring of 2021, at the same time the coupe-shaped version with the addition of Sportback to the name was declassified. A few months later, the list of modifications expanded. And now the company has talked about updated electric SUVs, which have been brought to the 2024 model year. They will be available for order next week.

All versions of the refreshed Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron are equipped with new DC synchronous motors (PSM). The basic version with the index 40 was sent to the past, it was replaced by a version with the designation 45. This crossover has an electric motor located on the rear axle that produces 286 hp. (82 hp more than its predecessor). This SUV is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds (1.8 seconds faster than the version with index 40).
The updated Q4 e-tron is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 77 kWh; in the basic rear-wheel drive version with index 45, the range on one charge has increased to 562 km (calculated using the WLTP cycle), which is 45 km more than its predecessor. It is worth noting that for rear-wheel drive versions, the maximum charging speed of the battery using a DC fast charger is still 135 kW. And for all-wheel drive versions of the Q4 45 and 55 quattro, the peak charging speed increased to 175 kW, which made it possible to charge the battery from 10 to 80% in 28 minutes.

The total output of the twin-engine power plant of the Audi Q4 45 e-tron quattro is also 286 hp, while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.6 seconds for such a crossover. The top all-wheel drive version of the Q4 55 e-tron quattro is equipped with a system with a total power of 340 hp; this electric SUV reaches the first “hundred” in 5.4 seconds (0.8 seconds faster than the previous similar version).

All versions of the refreshed Q4 e-tron crossover received a new sound generator that reproduces the synthesized sound of the internal combustion engine, both inside and outside the car. If desired, this feature can be disabled. Other updates for 2024 include a suspension lowered by 15 mm (for sport versions), as well as an expanded list of standard equipment, which includes heated front seats, an electric sunroof, a different navigation system, and an automatic lane change function.
The company also said that the changes that the updated model received made it possible to improve the thermal regulation of the traction batteries. It is assumed that various stages of preparing batteries for use will extend their service life.
It is known that all options for “fillings” will be available in the Sport, S-Line and Black Edition trim levels. Audi dealers will begin accepting orders for the refreshed versions of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron on September 26. The starting price will be 52,950 euros (equivalent to 5.42 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
