“We run the club as if it were a public company. If anyone wants to make a serious proposal to the Tottenham board, we will look at it with our advisors and if we feel it is in the best interests of the club, we will be open to anything.»
Levy also confirmed Telegraph Sport's story that a clause included in the deal to sell Kane that could allow Spurs to re-sign him was a first-choice deal that is contingent on fee negotiations with Bayern and the England captain wanting to return.< /p >
“If Harry one day wants to return to the Premier League and goes to Tottenham, we will have the opportunity to buy him,” Levy said. “Harry has been a great servant to the club, a fantastic player, coming from our academy, but you can't look too far into the future. Who knows.»
