The “sporty” crossover Kaiyi X3 Pro starts in the Russian Federation: the official price tag has been announced

The recommended retail price of the Pro version is more than 200 thousand rubles higher than the price of a “regular” SUV in the same configuration.< /p>

The Kaiyi brand, owned by the Chinese company Chery, showed a couple of its new crossovers intended for the Russian market — X3 and X3 Pro — during the MIMS auto exhibition, which took place last month in the Russian capital. At the end of August, local production of these models started: assembly was established at the facilities of the Kaliningrad enterprise Avtotor.

At the beginning of this week, the local representative office of Kaiyi announced the start of sales of the X3 crossover, and also published its price list. Let us remind you that the recommended retail price of the basic Comfort version with a manual transmission is 2,117,650 rubles, the purchase of the same version with CVT will cost customers 2,220,950 rubles, and the cost of the top-end Luxury version is 2,282,930 rubles.

Now the line of the Kaiyi brand has been replenished with the “sporty” crossover X3 Pro, which is offered in the only “luxury” configuration. The recommended retail price of the Pro version appeared on the official website of the brand; it is 2,490,000 rubles. If we compare it with the cost of a regular X-3 in the Russian Federation, the price tag of the new product turned out to be 207 thousand more.

Kaiyi X3 Pro can be distinguished from “just” X3 in appearance: it looks sportier due to a different front bumper, a different design of a small radiator grille and a massive air intake — a matrix pattern made of polygonal volumetric strokes. The Pro version also has a “shark fin” antenna on the roof. The SUV is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels.

There are also differences in the interior: the X3 Pro was equipped with an infotainment system with a horizontal 10.25-inch tablet rising above the front panel, while the regular X3 has a touchscreen integrated into the panel. The dimensions of the versions are the same: the length of the crossovers is 4400 mm, the width is 1831 mm, the height is 1653 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2632 mm; ground clearance — 158 mm.

Under the hood of the Kaiyi X3 Pro is a 1.5-liter turbo-four, the output of which is 147 hp. This engine is combined only with a continuously variable automatic transmission, and the AI-92 can be “powered”. This crossover has only front-wheel drive. Note that the “simply” Kaiyi X3 has a different technology: it is equipped with a 116-horsepower 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which can be paired with either a five-speed manual or a CVT.

The list of X3 Pro equipment includes: keyless entry function and push-button engine start, cruise control, wireless charging of gadgets, air conditioning, glass roof, steering wheel with leather trim and heating, eco-leather seat upholstery, heated first and second row seats, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, standard alarm, rear parking sensors, all-round camera system, light sensor, as well as front and front side airbags.< br />

Recall that the first-born of the brand in the Russian Federation was the Kaiyi E5 sedan, the assembly of which was also arranged at the facilities of the Kaliningrad Autotora. Today the starting price of the four-door is 2,115,000 rubles.
