Jan Maatsen's Chelsea future still in doubt despite Mauricio Pochettino praise

Chelsea have yet to make any progress on Jan Maatsen's future despite him playing a prominent role in the opening weeks of the season under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Maatsen's contract expires. at the end of the season, but there has been no change over the past month as Burnley received a £31.5 million bid accepted by Chelsea on the final day of the summer transfer window.
