The Biden administration is proposing billions of dollars in federal loans to finance electric vehicle factories and tax breaks for customers.
The measures are part of the Democratic president's goal to double the share of electric vehicles. a third of new cars sold in the U.S. by 2032.
In a speech the day after Biden's visit to Michigan, Trump said his 2024 rival was there to «pose for photos on the picket line,» while while promoting policies that «send Michigan auto workers to the brink of unemployment.»
