Bayern Munich are hoping to take advantage of Chelsea's revolving door for a fifth time after naming high-profile technical director Christopher Wivell.
Wivell left Chelsea earlier this year after less than 12 months in his role and is understood to be serving a period of gardening leave which saw him visit Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
But Wivell may not be out of work for long as Bayern are interested in adding him to the German club's former Chelsea staff.
In March, Bayern appointed Thomas Tuchel as head coach of Champions League-winning Chelsea, with his former backroom team of Arnaud Michels and Zsolt Löw moving with him to Germany.
