Sales of the refreshed four-door coupe have already started. In its home market, Germany, the price of the new product starts at 207,708.55 euros.
Mercedes-AMG introduced the four-door GT coupe in 2018, the top variant of this model was the GT63 S E Performance. Now the German manufacturer has updated this “charged” car until the 2024 model year. The main changes are concentrated in the appearance of the refreshed four-door; there are adjustments in the interior, but the hybrid “filling” was not touched.

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance received a different front end design, designed in the style of the current two-door AMG GT Coupe. The refreshed car was equipped with a larger branded radiator grille with a pattern in the form of thin vertical rods. In addition, the model received a different front bumper with narrower side and horizontally elongated central integrated air intakes.
The head optics, hood and rear design remained the same, and the developers of the 2024 model year version did not touch the design of the wheel rims. The exterior color palette of the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance now includes a new option – Opalite White Metallic.
The interior of the refreshed four-door coupe has received its share of new things. A power sunroof and a wireless charging pad between the rear seats are now standard equipment. The German company also updated the software for the MBUX infotainment system. The base for the GT63 S E Performance is the Burmester Surround Sound speaker system, and for an additional fee the Burmester High-End 3D option is available.
The new model year did not affect the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance technology. The four-door is still equipped with a hybrid power plant, which is based on a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with an output of 639 hp. It works in tandem with a 204-horsepower electric motor located on the rear axle. The total power of this system is 843 hp and the maximum torque is 1400 Nm. The composition also includes a battery with a capacity of 6.1 kWh, the range without recharging when driving only on electric power is 12 km (at speeds up to 130 km/h).
The car is paired with a nine-speed AMG Speedshift transmission, and the car has an AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system. This four-door coupe takes 2.9 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h, and its top speed is 315 km/h.
In Europe, sales of the refreshed four-door coupe have already started. In the home market, Germany, the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance 2024 model year is asking for no less than 207,708.55 euros.
Recall that the new two-door Mercedes-AMG GT, which is a “closed” version of the current convertible SL, was presented in August of this year: a “live” presentation took place as part of Monterey Car Week.
