Liftback Moskvich 6 enters the Russian market: configurations and prices

Liftback Moskvich 6 was revealed back in April; the Moscow automobile plant Moskvich (formerly Renault Russia) began serial production in early September. Well, now the configurations and prices have been officially announced, and it has also been announced that shipments to the dealer network will start in the near future.

Let us remind you that the five-door became the second model of the revived domestic brand; it joined the Moskvich 3 crossover and its electric version. As in the case of the SUV, a different emblem was given to the car of the Chinese company JAC (the “troika” is made from JAC JS4): Sehol Yao was taken as the basis for the liftback (the Sehol brand is used by the JAC concern only in its homeland, and even there they are about to abandon it ), that is, one of the varieties of the JAC J7 model (the original Jak, obviously, will soon leave the Russian market).

The length of the new Moskvich is 4770 mm, width – 1820 mm, height – 1492 mm, wheelbase – 2760 mm. That is, in terms of its dimensions, the “six” is not far from the Skoda Octavia. The new vehicle's rated ground clearance is 140 mm. The default model has all-round disc brakes. The trunk volume of the Moskvich 6 liftback is 540 liters, with the backrests of the second row folded, this figure will increase to 1650 liters.

At the first stage, the model will be offered with a 1.5T petrol turbo-four with distributed injection (136 hp, 200 Nm) and a CVT; later cars with a 1.5 TGDI turbo engine with direct fuel injection (174 hp, 280 Nm) will go on sale. combined with a six-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. In any case, the drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.

At first, Moskvich with 1.5T and CVT will be available in two trim levels. The arsenal of the basic Comfort version includes: LED optics, 17-inch wheels, heated and electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, rain sensor, rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, height-adjustable steering column, keyless entry system and engine start button, air conditioning, heated front seats , multimedia system with a 10.4-inch diagonal vertical tablet, front airbags, ESP, rear view camera and cruise control. The Business version includes an electric sunroof, climate control, digital instrumentation, all-round cameras and side airbags.
