The technology is also different, and in general this five-door is declared a separate model. The premiere will be held soon.
This year, Changan launched a new Qiyuan line in China with its own logo: this series was created specifically for electrified models. The first-born was the large liftback Qiyuan A07, it is available as a hybrid or a full-fledged electric car. Next on the market was the Qiyuan A05 sedan, that is, a rechargeable hybrid version of the Changan Lamore car, which is familiar to Russians. Well, now the third model has been announced – the rechargeable hybrid Qiyuan A06. This is again a liftback, and again it is not developed from scratch: the Changan Uni-V received a different filling (a purely petrol five-door is also presented in the Russian Federation).

Externally, the hybrid “six” differed from the “traditional” liftback mainly in the design of the front part. The hybrid received an original bumper, a frameless radiator grille had its own design, and in addition, a seemingly luminous strip and triangles appeared between the headlights. At the rear, only the location of the exhaust system pipes has changed: they are now double and located in the middle. Like the “hydrocarbon” liftback, the hybrid has a retractable spoiler. In the cabin, they only replaced the emblem on the steering wheel.
The length of the Changan Qiyuan A06 is 4720 mm, which is 40 mm more than the base Changan Uni-V. The height is 1435 mm (+5 mm compared to the original). The width and distance between the axles are the same – 1838 and 2750 mm, respectively.

The installation of the A06 is the same as that of the Qiyuan A05 sedan, it consists of a naturally aspirated 1.5 petrol with 110 hp, an electric motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery. Moreover, according to preliminary data, the liftback will be offered in two versions (again, like the sedan): the initial one will have a 190-horsepower electric motor and a battery with a capacity of only 9.07 kWh, the more expensive version will have a 215-horsepower electric motor and a battery of 18, 99 kWh.
The Qiyuan A06 will be presented in China in the near future, sales there hybrids will start before the end of this year. It is likely that the Qiyuan series will subsequently appear outside the home market.
