In the Russian Ministry of Defense They called the message about the regrouping of troops in the Dnieper region a provocation. Information about the alleged transfer of troops to more advantageous positions appeared in the media and telegram channels on the afternoon of Monday, November 13. The defense department quickly reacted to it.

«Distribution of a false message about the “regrouping” troops in the Dnieper area allegedly on behalf of the press center of the Russian Ministry of Defense is a provocation,” – stated to RBC in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Russian state news agencies TASS and RIA Novosti canceled the messages that appeared in the feeds. This happened ten minutes after the publication that the “command of the Dnepr group” decided to “transfer troops to more advantageous positions.”
