At the moment, the prices of new cars intended for the home market have been announced, and even there the range has been reduced for now. The full-scale launch of new products is scheduled for next year.
The world premiere of the second-generation Skoda Kodiaq crossover was held in October, and a month later the new liftback and Superb station wagon debuted. The full launch of both models on the European market will take place only in the second quarter of 2024, but in Skoda’s native Czech Republic, applications have already been accepted and prices have been announced. True, the SUV is still available in a single configuration, and the Superb can only be ordered as a “barn” Combi. And both models at the first stage are offered with one motor.

So, Czechs can reserve the front-wheel drive Kodiaq and Superb Combi with a 2.0 TDI turbodiesel with 150 hp. and a seven-speed DSG robotic gearbox (mechanics are not provided for new generations of cars at all). Let us remind you that the range of both models also includes petrol turbo engines 1.5 TSI (150 hp; this engine also has a 48-volt starter-generator) and 2.0 TSI (204 hp), the older version of the 2.0 TDI turbodiesel with 193 hp. s., as well as 204-horsepower rechargeable hybrid versions of the iV with 1.5 TSI and a six-speed DSG “robot” (by the way, the new Superb liftback cannot be a “real” hybrid). All-wheel drive is available only for the most powerful “traditional” cars.

The list of standard equipment available for order for the Skoda Kodiaq (Selection version) includes: 17-inch wheels, LED optics, front and rear parking sensors, rain and light sensors, fabric upholstery, virtual tidy (10 inches), multimedia system with 10-inch touchscreen, three-zone climate control, heated front seats, rear view camera, wireless charging for a smartphone, cruise control, auto braking systems, blind spot monitoring and road sign recognition. This Kodiaq was valued at 1,040,000 local crowns, which is equivalent to approximately 4,117,000 rubles at the current exchange rate. At the same time, several optional packages are provided for the SUV, which may include, for example, more expensive seat upholstery, matrix headlights, multimedia with a 13-inch tablet and adaptive cruise. For an additional fee, you can also order 19-inch wheels.

The new generation Skoda Superb station wagon in the Czech Republic is now offered in two trim levels – the basic Selection and the luxurious Laurin & Klement. The contents of the initial version are generally the same as those of the SUV. The top-end Superb Combi L&K has an adaptive suspension DCC Plus, matrix optics, 18-inch wheels, an electric luggage curtain, front seats with memory settings, ventilation and a massage function, heated all seats, a 13-inch multimedia system screen, parking valet, adaptive cruise control and all-round cameras. The new Skoda Superb Combi Selection costs 1,035,000 Czech crowns (about 4,098,000 rubles), Laurin & Klement will cost 1,235,000 CZK (approximately 4,889,000 rubles).

Previous models are still in service in the Czech Republic. At the same time, in the official price list of the first generation Skoda Kodiaq, only the older diesel version with all-wheel drive is now listed, that is, such a cross is understandably more expensive — from 1,249,900 crowns (4,948,000 rubles). The old Skoda Superb Combi with a 150-horsepower diesel engine and front-wheel drive costs from CZK 980,900 (RUB 3,883,000).
Later, orders for the new Kodiaq and Superb will be accepted in other European countries. In Russia, Skoda brand models now have only a “parallel” future.
