MOSCOW, November 13. People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Solomin has been in intensive care for a week in serious condition, the medical institution reported.
Solomin was hospitalized with a stroke on November 6. On Sunday, November 12, the director of the Maly Theater Tamara Mikhailova informed the agency that the artist’s condition was stable and there was an improvement.
“”The patient is in intensive care. The condition is serious, he is breathing on his own,” the agency's interlocutor said.
Yuri Solomin was born on June 18, 1935 in Chita. Since 1961, he has been teaching at the Shchepkin Higher Theater School, professor of the acting department. As a director, Solomin works at the Maly Theater and on television. He played in almost 60 films and TV series.
