ST. PETERSBURG, November 15 .Daria Trepova, accused of the terrorist attack, said in court that she partially admits guilt, noting that she did not know about the presence of an improvised explosive device (IED) in the figurine presented to military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky, the correspondent reports.
«No , I didn’t know that there was an IED in the figurine. (…) According to Part 4 of Article 327 (use of a knowingly forged document to conceal another crime) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, I fully recognize,” Trepova said in court.
On Wednesday in St. Petersburg, in the building of the 1st Western District Military Court, the first mobile hearing on the merits of the 2nd Western District Military Court, which is considering the case of the terrorist attack, is being held.
According to investigators, Trepova became part of the organizing group to carry out a terrorist attack in order to destabilize government agencies and force them to complete the SVO. According to the assigned role and the developed legend, Trepova, posing as someone else, repeatedly attended patriotic events with the participation of military commander Maxim Fomin (aka Vladlen Tatarsky) in order to gain his trust.

During the next meeting, which took place on April 2 in one of the cafes in St. Petersburg, Trepova handed Fomin a homemade explosive device disguised as a figurine. As a result of the explosion, the military commander was killed and another 52 participants in the event were injured. On the same day, Trepova arrived at the apartment of Dmitry Kasintsev, who, knowing about her involvement in the explosion, sheltered the accused until her discovery and detention.
Trepova is accused of paragraph «b» of Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act committed by an organized group, resulting in the intentional infliction of death on a person, significant property damage, as well as the onset of other grave consequences), Part 4 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, transfer, storage, transportation, carrying of explosive devices committed by an organized group), Part 4 of Article 327 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (acquisition, storage, transportation of a knowingly counterfeit driver’s license in order to facilitate the commission of another crime). Kasintsev has been charged under Part 2 of Article 316 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (not previously promised concealment of a particularly serious crime).
