ROSTOV-ON-DON, 17 Nov.The investigation will assess the actions of individuals or legal entities only after a comprehensive construction and technical examination of a partially collapsed house in Astrakhan, said Ibragim Mogushkov, head of the RF IC department for the Astrakhan region.
“»According to… Mogushkov, it is possible to assess the actions of individuals or legal entities only based on the results of a comprehensive construction and technical examination and only after that put forward versions of the reasons for what happened,» the regional governor's office said in a statement following the operational meeting.
It is noted that forensic experts are arriving from Moscow.

On the evening of November 16 in Astrakhan, two entrances to a five-story building built in 1962 on Vokzalnaya Square, 1a, collapsed. One person died. According to preliminary investigation data, the collapse occurred after load-bearing structures in one of the apartments were damaged during renovation. A criminal case has been opened for causing death by negligence and destruction of property.
