“We always, or often, unfortunately, slip into some kind of then extremes. We always lack pragmatism. We must not be shy to take the best that is anywhere — in the East, in the West, in the North, in the South. At the same time, we must never forget our own roots, rely on traditions and , acting pragmatically like this, to achieve the maximum result for ourselves,” Putin said at the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
