< strong>VELIKY NOVGOROD, November 19Two trucks collided on the M-10 highway in the Valdai district of the Novgorod region, one driver died, the press service of the regional traffic police department reports.
It is clarified that on Sunday at 11:35 at the 372nd kilometer of the M-10 “Russia” the 59-year-old KAMAZ driver did not take into account road and meteorological conditions while avoiding obstacles. The truck overturned onto the roadway and collided with an oncoming Shacman truck.
“”The driver of the KAMAZ vehicle died at the scene of a traffic accident before the arrival of emergency medical services. The driver of the Shacman vehicle, born in 1964, was taken to hospital No. 122 with bodily injuries,” commented the commander of the traffic police department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene.
