MOSCOW, November 17- A line has once again formed at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater for bracelets to purchase tickets for the New Year's ballet «The Nutcracker», the line is being monitored by the police and theater security, the correspondent reports.
Previously, the Bolshoi Theater published a special program for pre-sale of tickets for performances of the ballet “The Nutcracker” on its official website due to the increased demand for the performance. According to the schedule, ticket sales for the performances on December 29-31 started on November 11 at the box office, and from November 12 it was offered to buy tickets on the website. More than once, large queues formed outside the theater of those wishing to first receive a bracelet with a number to purchase a ticket, and later to purchase a ticket.
The head of the State Duma Committee on Culture, Elena Yampolskaya, previously stated that the committee sent an appeal to the General Director of the Bolshoi Theater, Vladimir Urin, asking questions about the situation with the sale of tickets to the ballet. The director of the Bolshoi Theater responded that the Bolshoi Theater annually improves its ticket sales system for popular performances.
