S. -PETERSBURG, November 21. Russian actress and theater director Polina Menshikh died during a performance in the Donbass, the theater-studio “Portal” reported on the page on the social network “VKontakte.”
“With great pain we inform you that Polina Menshikh, known as the director one of the versions of “The Last Test” (“Lege Artis”) died <…> at a performance in Donbass as a result of shelling,” the publication says.
According to the theater, the actress died on November 19. They noted that the screening of “The Last Test,” which will take place on December 9, will be dedicated to her memory.
Polina Menshikh was born on November 9. She was the director of the ethnic dance theater “Nezhen”, a choreographer with 29 years of experience.
As Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported, she was 40 years old.
