YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, November 27 An emergency warning has been announced for Tuesday in two municipalities of Sakhalin due to the passage of a cyclone, informs the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Russia.
“”On the twenty-eighth of November, moderate precipitation (mostly snow), heavy in places, wind of 15-20 m/s, blizzard, and icy roads are predicted in the Dolinsky and Makarovsky districts,” the department said in a statement.
According to rescuers, an emergency warning and recommendations for response have been sent to the district administrations and interacting structures.
The situation related to the passage of the cyclone is under the control of the State Emergency Management Directorate of Russia for the Sakhalin region.
